There are over 200 indigenous grape varieties in Greece, this wine is made from the Agiorgitiko grape and it benefits from a bold food accompaniment.

Recipe

  • INGREDIENTS
  • Handful of pitted prunes, you could use dates instead
  • Brandy or sweet wine (choose from our desert wine list)
  • Charcuterie – ideally duck, also Serrano, Parma Ham etc.
  • Soak the pitted prunes in your booze for 3-6 hours
  • Remove and leave to dry a little
  • Wrap in a thin slice of meat
