Domaine Pierre Frick went organic in 1970 and is one of the pioneers of the bio-dynamic movement, switching to full bio in 1980. It is, by and large, one of the most influential domaines of the movement, with respect for their natural attitude across the wine industry.
This 2014 Grand Cru is beginning to show delightful orange hues and wonderfully warm development. On the palate, the flavours are zesty, honeyed warmth, rounded, still fresh and a simply delicious. The vineyards are very lightly tilled, promoting vine health and helping with pest control management. A vineyard so naturally grown needs nurture and perfect growing conditions to help it along its way.
