Winery of Good Hope Pinot Noir
£15.25
Stellenbosch, Western Cape
This really is all about a winery of ‘good hope’… their claim is to make “wine with a conscience”. Produced in cellars on the slopes of the Helderberg Mountain, the team adopts traditional, natural viticultural and winemaking methods and is proud to have received full accreditation for environmental, ethical and social-upliftment practices.
Plums, cherries and a minty, smokey undertones… wine talk! In reality, this is a wine full of flavour, yet light, as Pinot Noir is. There is body without too much weight. Arguably Burgundian style Pinot Noir at a snip of the price.
